Japanese PSE copywriting
PSE certification is a Japanese compulsory safety certification, used to prove that electrical and electronic products have passed the Japanese Electrical and Material Safety Law (DENAN Law) or the international IEC standard safety standard test. Japan’s DENTORL Law (Electrical Device and Material Control Law) stipulates that 498 products must pass safety certification to enter the Japanese market. Among them, 165 types of A products should obtain the diamond-shaped PSE mark, and 333 types of B products should obtain the round PSE mark.

Japan’s DENTORL Law (Electrical Device and Material Control Law) stipulates that 498 products enter the Japanese market
From April 1, 2001, the "Electrical Product Control Law (DENTORL)" was officially renamed the "Electrical Product Safety Law (DENAN)", and the original T mark and other marks were no longer used, instead the PSE mark was replaced, and strengthened Punishment measures for importers have been imposed. Different from the previous legal system, the new system will be guaranteed by unofficial organizations to ensure product safety.
According to the DENAN law, product certification must be carried out by a third-party certification body authorized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), such as JET, JQA, COSMOS, where JQA is a member of the Asia Network Forum (ANF).
DENAN law divides products into two categories: A and B. Manufacturers are obliged to save test results and certificates:
A category: designated electrical equipment and material products must have a diamond-shaped PSE mark on the label; special electrical appliances and materials (112 items in total) must be subject to mandatory third-party verification by the authorized assessment unit (ACAB). The diamond-shaped PSE mark can only be affixed after the manufacturer obtains the certificate of conformity

Class B: Other electrical equipment and materials must have a circular PSE mark on the product label; non-special electrical appliances and materials (340 items in total) If the manufacturer guarantees the safety structure of the product in accordance with the safety requirements of the Electrical Safety Law, You can affix the round PSE logo by yourself

Related technical information and document requirements
Japan voltage is AC 100V/50Hz, 100V/60Hz
PSE will perform a factory inspection (check for the presence of relevant test instruments and their applicability), but there will be no follow-up inspection. Since various certification agencies cooperate with different partners in China, the agencies responsible for factory inspections in China are different. For example, the partner of JQA is the China Import and Export Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.
The following units can submit applications for certification of compliance with the PSE mark:
Japanese manufacturer
Japanese importer
Designated foreign manufacturer designated by Japanese importer
The notified supplier can only be a Japanese manufacturer/importer. After the notified supplier has obtained the certificate of conformity and affixed the PSE mark, METI will be deemed to be liable for legal responsibility. A foreign manufacturer cannot become a notified supplier, but it must provide a valid certificate of compliance issued by a qualified ACAB issued by a Japanese importer.
Safety test:
CB certificate and report (including Japan's difference test) Japanese manual or assembly manual
Route map Japanese label (including the PSE mark and the name of the notified supplier)
Structure data sheet of PCB design drawings related to safety regulations
Specifications of transformers and coil parts
Parts list
RFI test: Provide RFI test report (100 V) and EMC test laboratory certification qualification documents
Factory inspection documents
MITI/METI's registered factory
Factory registration certificate
Factory test equipment list (asset number, manufacturer name, model, specification, last calibration date)
Verification procedure
Non-MITI/METI login factory
