According to the requirements of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), since January 1, 2011, all toys placed on the Gulf region market must meet all the requirements of the Gulf region compliance label, and the products should also carry the Gulf region compliance GC marking is used to prove that the product meets the relevant requirements of the Gulf Technical Regulation GTTR for toys. The current Gulf Toy Technical Regulation is GTTR BD-131704-01. After the implementation of this regulation, toys manufactured locally by GSO member states of the Gulf Standardization Organization or imported into the country’s market must meet the basic safety requirements listed in this technical regulation.

The Gulf countries (GCC) implement technical regulations for toys (BD-131704-01). All toys manufactured or imported in the Gulf countries must meet the requirements listed in the technical regulations, including physical, mechanical, chemical, flammability, and electrical appliances. , Health and radiation. Importers need to have a certification body conduct safety tests on toys imported into the Gulf market each time. Toy products of a specific category must obtain a GCC type certification certificate issued by a certification body designated by GSO. Manufacturers and importers are obliged to comply with technical regulations and add GC marking on their products. A product printed with GC marking means that the product has met the requirements of GCC technical regulations before the product can be circulated among GCC member countries.

When the importer is not associated with the manufacturing company, the importer needs to go to a third-party authorized laboratory for testing and obtain a conformity certificate; when the importer is associated with the manufacturing company, the exported products need to pass a third-party authorized agency (Notified Body) for product compliance For sexual verification, if necessary, a GC type inspection certificate shall be issued.
